A few weeks ago I went to the Interior Design show in Toronto where they had all kinds of booths laid out. They had everything from wall paper booths, to even a toilet paper booth, how awesome is that? One thing I noticed at the 2014 IDS show in Toronto was the focus on bathrooms and kitchens. Of course I spent most of my time at my favorite booth at the show, Ikea, which also had both a bathroom and a kitchen display. When I walked into the Ikea booth I was amazed by the gorgeousness of their bathroom. The wall was completely covered in these tiny gold tiles giving the impression that it was made out of gold, and the mirror itself was very regal looking with the gold wall that complimented it very nicely.
The very glamorous and detailed mirror, the mirrored cabinets and flower accessories reminded me of a bathroom that would be in a movie about Marie Antoinette. I love the fact that even though the mirror and the wall are very detailed and colourful the sink was kept very clean cut and simple with crisp white lines to not make it too over the top.
The lighting was very gorgeous as well, it illuminated the whole room and gave it that glowing feel and made you believe it was completely made of gold. The flowery shape of the chandeliers also kept it tied in with the girly, glamour feel. This bathroom is definitely every girls dream room.
